Rik King is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, quiz & jam night host from Bedford, England and former member of UK bands Chicken Inspectors, Rubberneck and Jets 2 June. Now concentrating on performing as a solo artist around the UK, he is renowned not only for the range of vocals he displays but also the range of songs he performs in his varied set. Depending on the venue and audience, you could hear anything from The Platters to Nirvana, from Kinks to Kaiser Chiefs, from Elvis to Meat Loaf. He has also recorded three solo albums of his own work and is working on a fourth album at the moment: a concept piece based on Mary Shelley's Frankenstein story. Called RE-CREATION you can find out more by clicking on the menu. He will also be releasing CDs of his favourite covers from the live set at the end of the year.
